InkDecoder is an AI-powered document transcription service that uses optical character recognition (OCR) technology to convert images of documents into digital text. Our Service includes:

• AI-powered text transcription using OpenAI ChatGPT
• Multiple export formats (text, PDF, Word documents)

• User account management and subscription services
• Administrative tools for account management

The Service is provided on an "as-is" basis and is intended for legitimate document digitization purposes only.

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of our Service, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

• Curator (Enterprise): $99/month, 5,000+ pages per month, priority processing, API access

4.2 Payment Terms

Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice.

4.3 Refunds and Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial months of service.

4.4 Usage Limits

Each subscription tier has specific usage limits. Exceeding these limits may result in service restrictions until the next billing cycle or upgrade to a higher tier.

6. User Content and Privacy

Our Service utilizes third-party AI technology (OpenAI ChatGPT) subject to their respective terms and conditions.

8. Service Limitations and Availability

8.1 Transcription Accuracy

While we strive for high accuracy, AI transcription is not perfect. Accuracy may vary based on:

• Handwriting legibility

• Language and character complexity

8.2 Service Availability

We aim for high service availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.

8.3 File Limitations

The Service has technical limitations including maximum file sizes, supported formats, and processing times.

9. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall InkDecoder be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from transcription errors or inaccuracies

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination
